Revelation 19:16

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

The kingdom of God's grace is now being established, as day by day hearts that have been full of sin and rebellion yield to the sovereignty of His love. God is preparing a people for the full establishment of the kingdom of His glory in the second coming of Christ to this world. Then, “The kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven,” is to be given to “the people of the saints of the Most High.” Daniel 7:27. The ransomed shall inherit the kingdom prepared for them “from the foundation of the world.” Matthew 25:34. And Christ will take to Himself His great power and will reign. Amen

The first Christ came was as a servant of servants. He came in humility, the smitten Lamb that died for our sins. He wondered as one without a place to lay His head. "He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering" (Isa. 53:2-3). His friends fled from Him as He was manhandled leading to His lonely death at the cross of Calvary. He died the death that was assigned to the worst criminals, yet He committed no sins. The Jews cried as they crucified Him "His blood be upon us and our children."

BUT, when Christ shall come to the earth a second time, we will see Him then as heaven's King. He will come in His own glory, in the glory of His Father, and the glory of the holy angels. Accompanied with thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of holy ones, our Saviour will come forth as King of kings and Lord of lords. Jehovah Immanuel “shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and His name one.” “The tabernacle of God”

He will descend upon the cloud, wrapped in flaming fire. The heavens will be rolled together as a scroll, the earth will tremble before Him, and every mountain and island will be moved out of its place. “Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence”. Hallelujah!

Then those who crucified Him and those who have rejected Him will in awful agony and horror cry to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:16, 17.

Where will you be on that day?

The time of waiting for His coming may seem long, the soul may be oppressed by discouraging circumstances, many in whom confidence has been placed may fall by the wayside. But He surely will come for His own. He came the first time and He WILL COME AGAIN. His promises are sure for He is the same yesterday, today and always.

Will you allow Jesus to be your King today?
